TransTrak makes ultra-narrow tractors to traverse through rows of standing crop like vineyards, sugarcane, cotton, bananas, bed crops and fruits.

At 26 inches (66 cms) width, as narrow as a horse or an ox, the crawler tractor can traverse through 3 feet or over of crop rows while the 21 HP crawler track provides 3x traction - equivalent to a traditional 55HP tire tractor.

TransTrak Tractor

Single Steerable Track

The world's first and only single crawler track that steers, is at the core of the technology. Never ever in tractor history, 115 years since the farm tractor was invented, has a single steel crawler track been able to self-steer.

A single track is narrow and hence manoeuvres through narrow spaces, it is highly suitable for the farming inter-row operations.

Narrow Yet High Traction

The track provides 3x the traction of a conventional tire tractor, hence easily matches the push and pull requirements for all operations from small to large tractor implements. 

This makes it suitable for all farm operations - be it inside rows of standing crop or open field operations like ploughing, disc harrows, etc.

Push and Pull

The track has equi-traction i.e. equal push and pull tractive force, thus allowing it to have implements/accessories at the front for pushing/dozing and rear for pulling. Unlike tire tractors that can only pull, but cannot push implements.

Transformation: Steel Track to Rubber Tires

The transformation to rubber tires is for road transport on asphalt. The tractor pulls a 2 tonne trailer on normal asphalt paved roads.

The Platform

TransTrak’s narrow single steerable track is a platform that:

• Is 26 inch (66 cm) narrow
• Has 1250kgf traction, equal for push and pull
• Can carry 375 kgs in the Front and 375 kgs Rear of the tractor with additional 500 kgs overhead
• Has a flexible rotary power take off (PTO) of 21HP in the front, rear, side or off platform.
• Can transform between Steel tracks to Rubber Tires for Roads in 15 minutes without tools

This is a small yet strong transforming platform. With load carrying, load pushing/pulling capacity and rotary power - this platform allows for an endless range of implements, accessories and applications.

Below are listed several use-cases of the tractor for farming applications that we can envision today. This is just a starter - what we can imagine today. We are confident that the farming community will find many more uses beyond our vision.

It is very much our endeavour to give the farmers a platform that could have far reaching benefits beyond our imagination today.

Vineyards (Grapes)

One of the most difficult crop on the planet is grapes - but also one of the highest cash earner. Rows are narrow, needs regular maintenance including de-weeding, soil pulverisation, spraying, trimming and such.

`All of this is very labor intensive - which brings the farmer down to his/her knees.

Current solutions include small, traction-less tractors or over-the-wine equipment that are bulky. These are expensive, bulky and rather cumbersome. Also, mainly lack traction for pulling harder implements.

TransTrak advantage is 26 inch (66 cm) narrow, 3x traction, shorter than waist height and does everything that a farmer needs to maintain the vine - year round!

Sugarcane

Another notoriety for labor costs is claimed by sugarcane. Similar to grapes -  narrow spacing, needs constant furrowing, de-weeding, soil aeration and pulverising. This needs traction and PTO power.

Current solutions include walk behind rotary tillers or weeders, and finally labor. It has become extremely expensive to hire labor (or rather find labor) while per acre yield has reduced by over 50% in the last 30 years.

Here TransTrak is a boon, we have tried and tested in sugarcane for over 2 years and the feedback has been mind-boggling! Farmers want to buy the tractor asap!

Cotton

Cotton is abundantly grown in four continents, but the same problem: 3 - 5 feet spacing means tractors are not of use, while soil and crop maintenance is in high demand. Quality and yield are suffering big where only TransTrak can provide a labor free, easy solution.

Other crops will also immensely benefit from a narrow, powerful tractor like:
